# Social Engineering Basics - Instructions 26 - Help!

Hi All,

I have followed instruction 1 to 25 without issue. However, when I try [http://acne.portal](http://acne.portal) in firefox, I get a timed out error. I have gone back to instruction 15 and can confirm the prompt is active (running). and the dnsmasq.conf file appears correct.

I would appreciate advice on where to triage and move forward if possible. Thanks!

There are a lot of places to go astray in this lab. Be sure of the following, but note the IPs shown are for my lab only, your lab will likely differ…

1.) Be sure you can ping acme.portal (note the M) from Windows and Kali:

2.) Be sure the credential harvester is listening on the Kali IP and the website you clone is [http://acme.portal](http://acme.portal):

3.) Be sure dnsmasq points acne.portal (note the N) to the Kali IP:

4.) Be sure Windows uses the Kali IP for DNS:

For me, [http://acne.portal](http://acne.portal) (the site cloned by SET) comes up fine:
