It looks like that desktop got stuck loading. I would try again.

That looks like a perfectly good desktop 
Is the issue that you have never used Linux before? Even so, just follow the step by step lab instructions
I tried to open cmd and all other but nothing is working, i dont why this is happening, but its frustrating… :exp, have a look at this now
