Certification question - do i only get badge and not certificate?

Yup, I hear you loud and clear.

I was just trying to better understand why the PDF certificate is preferable to the Credly badge for documentation purposes - so I was asking if it’s the fact that you can easily store the PDF as an easily accessible file on your local machine for whenever you may need it in the future?

Thanks for the feedback. Just trying to better understand how, when, and why folks are using Certificates of Completion.

Yes, exactly it’s not just about storing it locally, though that’s definitely convenient.

From what I’ve seen, HR professionals and hiring managers tend to place more weight on a traditional-looking certificate (PDF, JPG, etc.) compared to a digital badge , even if the badge is more secure or verifiable. I’m not entirely sure why maybe it’s just familiarity or perception but in practice, many still view certificates as a more “official” form of proof than Credly badges at least in south asia.

That’s really the main reason I was hoping for a Certificate of Completion, just to have something that clearly shows I completed the full structured learning program. @CalmQuail2332
