Challenge: Spiny Shell <--- Part 2

Good day Cybrary community!!

In the second part of the CHALLENGE, answers are needed with data from something that does not exist. The code is the -SAME AS- the previous one (activity 1):
“d.ps1” is not even mentioned in text strings (chain of decrypted texts) <— IMPORTANT
For this reason the questions (attached image) cannot be answered :frowning:

Is it a mistake of the CHALLENGE or did I miss something?

—> As I mentioned when decrypting content, what results are links to “a.ps1”, “b.ps1” and “c.ps1” and that’s it:
NO “d.ps1” :frowning:

Thank you for any information that will help you move forward or at least know where to start

Best regards

Hey there - this particular Challenge is on the older side and the instructor who created it is no longer here. I’ll dig into the documentation to see if we have a solution guide that can shed some light on this question.

Thank you very much, I will be attentive to your message.

In case you can’t find a solution, I suggest that you delete part 2…
… so that part 1 is enough to complete CHALLENGE

Best regards

Yeah, you’re right. My guess is that Part 2 was supposed to have a different or perhaps extended command, but it’s the same encoded command as Part 1, and none of the answers that I see on my end make any sense in context.

Thanks for flagging! I’ve removed Part 2.

  • If I complete -PART 1- of the CHALLENGE can I get a certificate?
  • When will I see it reflected?

Thank you.

Best regards

If you re-enter the Challenge and click Continue on the top navigation bar, you should advance to a screen that allows you to download the Certificate of Completion.

Downloaded !!!

Thank you again

By the way, with this Challenge (flagged) can I earn this badge?

Is it strictly for publication?

Best regards

We don’t really actively use the Discourse badges here, but this one appears to refer to “flagging a post” as in “reporting an inappropriate post within Forums”. So that would be different from identifying an issue with a piece of content on the Cybrary app.

Excellent

Thank you
