I believe this external lab is having issues. After starting the lab, there is an instruction to open the follina_exploit.doc that should begin the exploit and open a calculator. However, when opening the .doc I am just prompted to login with microsoft and no exploit runs. Is this something I should need to sign into a microsoft account for?

The lab does work as written. When Word opens you are prompted for an Office account, but you can close the window and choose to view the Word doc in “read only” mode.
Very odd.. I must have done something wrong initially because it is working as expected now! Thank you for confirming, I was able to open in read only and it ran as expected
