CYSA+ Lab 1.2 Guided Hash Functions

So now this lab is causing issues. I created the three files but have been getting errors when trying to do everything from step 10 and on. Moving the file (mv command) works but then the rest of it doesn’t. Trying to do the -sha256 throws an error of "xdg-open: unexpected option ‘-sha256’ Try ‘xdg-open --help’ for more information.

Kindly share a screen shot of the commands you are using and any error message shown if the screen shot above does not help.

Note: I skipped step 15 (cat abigfile.txt) as I wanted to capture the relevant lab steps for you.
