DevSecOps Track has a Question that Provides no Value (Crowdstrike)

In Section 1.7 of the DevSecOp track, there is a question that does not provide value to the course or its trainees.

Back in July of 2024 there was a global outage caused by an improperly tested configuration push to Crowdstrike EDR agents.

While humorous, this following question is not valid or appropriate for the course. It does not provide a learning opportunity for the trainee, nor is it technically accurate (you would not use Crowdstrike to take out hosts; Crowdstrike is an EDR). Additionally, there is no place within the learning materials to source an answer to this question.

Thanks for the feedback! This question is indeed a nod to July’s global outage and was intended as a moment of levity - not to be taken literally. Our apologies if this was not clear and caused any confusion. We will look into modifying the question to clarify that it is in fact an easter egg.

Personally, I enjoy these little easter eggs and I found this one quite funny.

Perhaps a summary of the outage at the bottom of the page could give some context for those not in the know.
Thanks for taking my feedback!
