Hi,
I’ve been waiting for a while for this guided exercise under file system of the Digital Forensics path to load up.
Has anyone encountered the same problem.
Admin please look into this.
Hi,

I see this happen from time to time. I just retry to launch the lab and it usually works.
That’s what I thought too….it’s been 3 weeks now☹️
Yikes!!!
Certainly report any issue like this to support@cybrary.it.
I did test and I cannot access the lab either. I will reach out to support.
Hi I have a problem locating the Pastebin URL in the Web Activity Logs Guided Exercise, can anyone help?
Yes, this is happening to me with the 1.2 Guided Exercise. I reach out to support@cybrary.it and according to Erika at cybrary.it here exact words, “Our support team has been advised to direct any questions related to assistance with the content of our virtual lab environments to our community in Cybrary Forums. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.” She suggested to come here. Have you reach out to anyone on Discord?
No I haven’t reached out to anyone on Discord. Did you get help on Discord?
Hey guys, I know the Cybrary team is working on this. Also this is not a content issue, it’s an access issue that tech support should know about and escalate.
Labs should be back up now.
I reached out on Discord, and a member suggested to reach out to cybrary.it. I also noticed with the Password cracking lab that steps 9 & 12 give the incorrect commands to enter in the command line of Kali. I had to use GPT chat to verify the command. Will try this lab again tomorrow.
If you believe the commands should be different, could you share your recommended changes so I can run these by the instructor?
Hello, apologies for the delay, I finally completed the password cracking labs.
Brute Force Commands
For questions #9
The instructions are to type the command as “hashcat -a 3 -m 100 -ihash2.txt ?a?a?a?a?a?a”. However, after several tries, I got error message, and I finally typed hashcat -a 3 -m 100 -i hash2.txt ?a?a?a?a?a?a", there is a space between “-i” and “hash2.txt”.
For question #12
The same situation. The instructions are to type the command as “hashcat -a 3 -m 1410 -ihash3.txt ?a?a?a?a?a?a?a?a?a?a”. I added a space between “-i” and “hash3.txt” and typed the command as “hashcat -a 3 -m 1410 -i hash3.txt ?a?a?a?a?a?a?a?a?a?a”. Please review with your instructor to make sure these commands are correct; they worked for me. I am learning as well and would like to make sure these commands are correct.
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing - I can confirm that the instructions already have the space between the -i and hash.txt in the command. This lab would certainly not have been functional for the last two years otherwise.
Do you happen to have a screenshot? This is what I’m seeing:
Really? In question #9 the there it appears there is no space between the “-i” and “hash2.txt”. Ok, perhaps I read the commands wrong. I tried up loading 2 screenshots but was unable to do so on this platform.
I think it’s a limit of one per post, but you should be able to upload images.
Ok, many thanks! Do you know or could you recommend who I can reach out to moving forward about technical advice about these labs? I am sure the labs will become more challenging as I progress through the modules? Thanks!
If you think you’ve identified an error in any lab, you can post here in Forums.
If you’re having any technical issues with the Cybrary platform, you can visit our Support page (https://help.cybrary.it/) or submit a ticket through the chatbot in the lower-right corner.
