Hey there! So the answer that the instructor is looking for is “trojan”, which you’ll find in the video for this lesson - but personally I don’t agree with the definition she’s presenting. She states that a trojan is “something left behind to provide future access to the attacker” - which is indeed one common application of trojans, but a trojan is more generic than that - a trojan is simply any malware that disguises its true nature by representing itself as something else.
I’m going to replace this question with a less confusing one.
