I got hacked by an ex

Im back on here because my phone’s and laptop got hacked, still being hacked. I tried going to the authority’s but, they keep giving me the run around. I thought maybe someone from here could help me.

Sorry to hear that, but unfortunately that’s a little bit outside the scope of this community space’s intended purpose (providing support on Cybrary content and cybersecurity education in general).

There are several guides available online on the subject of “what to do if my device has been hacked” (for example, disconnect from the internet, update passwords, run malware scans). I would recommend starting there.

@Igive0fux
That is work for the authorities :slight_smile:

1.- My recommendation is to isolate your equipment.
2.- Factory format (phone) and format (PC) it and use antivirus.
3.- Check for persistent files (suspicious files and apps) and try to delete them.
4.- Finally analyze generated traffic :slight_smile:

Highly recommended:

  • Disable cameras.
  • Add strong passwords to your apps (to open/access them) and lock your cell phone login screen :slight_smile:

—> This is not a guarantee however this is better than nothing :slight_smile:

I wish solutions to your problem :slight_smile:

Thanks
I’ll figure it out.
