Issue with Digital Forensics Challenge – Acquisition (1.1)

Dear Cybrary Support Team,

I am currently taking the Digital Forensics course and working on the 1.1 Challenge: Acquisition. I followed all the required steps in FTK Imager to create a logical image of the directory D:\User_Home_Directories. However, when submitting the last four characters of the SHA1 hash as requested, my answer was marked incorrect.

To ensure accuracy, I carefully verified the computed hash value generated by FTK Imager and matched it with the report hash. Both hashes are identical, as shown in the attached image. I would like to confirm whether there is a possible issue with the challenge validation system or if I might be overlooking something.

Could you please review my submission and confirm if the expected answer is correct? If there is an issue with the challenge system, I would appreciate guidance on how to proceed.

I get the same result as you…

HOWEVER… when I go back to the Evidence Acquisition Lab Part 3, and perform the steps as shown there, I do get the correct answer. Please revisit the Evidence Acquisition Lab Part 3.
