Issue with Onboarding

Hello,

I need your help ASAP, I have received an invitation to Join my Team on Cybrary. After I click the link and try to login, I keep getting redirected to the onboarding page no matter what other page (career paths, my learning, etc) I try to connect to. Please check the attached image.

Hey there - when you’re redirected to the Onboarding page, do you immediately see the All Finished screen above? Or do you see the Create Your Profile screen?

My first guess is that the app is failing to load because you don’t have a first name or last name value provided. Both are required fields, so I’m not sure how you would be able to advance without filling them out, but that’s the first irregularity I notice looking at your account.

Just to clarify, when I try to access the Onboarding page from a new tab I see the Create Your Profile screen, in which I fill out all the required fields marked with an asterisk. After that I click Submit and it leads me to the Onboarding screen loop I provided above. The same issue persists over different browsers as well.

Thanks for confirming. I’ve escalated this to our engineering team. I’ll let you know when I have an update.

Are you able to try again using a different network connection? Our engineering team has dug into our logs, and it seems like something (endpoint security? your home firewall) is blocking PATCH requests to one of our endpoints.

I am mostly connecting through my organization’s VPN, so as you suggested, I ran a test through another network connection, in case my home firewall was causing the issue and also tested connecting outside the VPN too. All tests were done in a private browser and produced the same result. I still cannot access anything past the Onboarding screen loop.

Thanks - are you able to try again with Dev Tools open to the Network tab, then grab the Payload for the PATCH request to https://app.cybrary.it/auth/api/talent/profile that returns a 405? Feel free to send it via DM here if you don’t want to post it.
