How long are you waiting after the loading bar hits 100%? In some cases, a lab might take an extra minute or two. If it still hasn’t progressed after a total 10 minutes, I would try refreshing the page and clicking Start Lab again. I’ll also have the engineering team check the logs to see if we see anything unusual.
Could you confirm which lab you’re trying to launch?
You need to refresh the page.
As @M_shp notes, if you refresh the page at the 100% mark and click Start Lab you will often get a connection. I have also just waited and the lab will eventually load.
Hi there. Just checkin if you find a fix for this issue, I’m facing the same. !!! Someone could work on the ubuntu labs? thanks in advance…!
This was resolved around 11:00 PM eastern last night
Wow. Unfortunately, not for me. I’ve even clicked in the pop-up to update the Ubuntu version, and it still freezes!
I will keep trying to figure it out!
The issue from the other day is definitely resolved. Can you share a screenshot of what you’re seeing?
You do not need to update Ubuntu. You can disregard that message.
Thanks for the answer. Here is the screenshot.
Just to let you know that when the machine ends the loading process, then stays frozen. And I can’t continue.
So far I haven’t been able to reproduce this. To confirm, the cursor does not respond at all? You can’t click “Don’t Upgrade” for example?
If so, I would recommend trying a different browser (Chrome is preferred, Firefox is second) and a different internet connection, if one is available to you.
Hello.
Just to let you know, the issue persisted even when using Mozilla Firefox. However, I decided to move forward, and it looks like I found a solution. I’m now using a Linux virtual machine, and both the webpages and the lab are loading much faster.
Thank you for your kind support. If someone else faces the same issue, this could be a helpful fix.
Best regards!
Nice! It sounds like something specific to your local machine was getting in the way, although I’ll admit I’m not sure precisely what. Regardless, glad to hear you found a workaround.
