In the Rank and File module I’ve been having some trouble finding the flag in the Linux server and was curious if I could get a hint to push me in the right direction.
The windows one was easy enough but this ones been giving me grief for longer than I’d like to say lol.

I appreciate the help, but i’m not sure i’ve gotten much farther as my grasp of the file system isn’t super terrible.
i think the reason i was able to get the windows flag with any ease was following their hint about where the performance monitor saves it data, compared to the hint for the linux system being “non-default directory”

Look in the root (/) directory and see if there isn’t something pretty obvious there.
How do I look for the challenge file and the path way, what command do I use to know file type and lastly does anyone experience troubles with the lab? I do not find things they say I would find in the linux terminal
