Career path question:
Having made my way through a couple of the foundation modules, I can see that it’s not a requirement to be an expert in coding to pursue a career in cybersecurity. Curious to know in what ways developing coding skills is an advantageous in cybersecurity? I’ve built a handful of basic testing tools so far and happy to keep developing my skills alongside what I’m doing here. Anyone else here involved in both coding and cybersecurity? Interested to know about your experiences. Thanks.
In my experience, those who try to avoid coding have a much harder time in their IT careers. Those who embrace coding (BASH, Python, JavaScript, Ruby) understand the tools that exist and how to modify them, know how to automate tasks, and generally are better problem solvers.

Good morning everyone, it’s almost friyay!!
Hi everyone! I’m currently building my cybersecurity career and trying to grow my network. If anyone here is on LinkedIn, I’d love to connect so we can share knowledge, resources, and support each other’s journeys. Feel free to drop your profile links!
Is there any way to save lab work if I can’t complete it in one session? I put my laptop to sleep so I could come back to it. It’s reset and wiped all my CLI work. Frustrating!
I’m afraid not. The labs are stateless and written to be completed in a single lab session.
