No qualifying CEUs on Cybrary for SecurityX (formerly CASP+)?

It seems like based on the latest list from CompTIA there are no courses on Cybrary that qualify as pre-approved CEUs for renewing CASP+/SecurityX. They all show up as “Invalid” on the latest list dated March 2025.

Am I missing something or is Cybrary useless now for renewing CASP+/SecurityX?

I wonder if it’s because the corresponding Cert Prep course has not been updated to the latest version of the exam (this is currently in development). I know we spent the better part of a year trying to get CompTIA to update the list of approved Cybrary courses from a 2023 version of our catalog, but there’s really no reason labs and courses mapped to SecurityX wouldn’t be approved - unless they’ve implemented a new policy or standard that hasn’t been shared with us.

I’m also looking for an updated list of Cybrary CEU’s I can get. I used this 3 years ago for my initial renewal, but after seeing I need to take new modules/certs I realize the list was never updated. If someone has a better solution than Cybrary at this point, I need it since my cert will be expiring soon.

I hope there will be some updates because IMO there are a lot of things on Cybrary that should qualify based on the newest objectives. The only thing I can think of is that the more short format approach doesn’t match what CompTIA wants. It’s frustrating when I can look at the objectives, match course content, and it’s listed as invalid.

We work closely with CompTIA to ensure that learners can submit their qualifying CEUs. Because CompTIA is the certifying body, they ultimately get to determine what courses will be accepted. Per CompTIA, “At least 50% of the course content must relate to one or more of the exam objectives for the certification you’re renewing.” If you believe a Cybrary course meets that standard for the certification you are renewing, we encourage you to submit it for individual review.

This is my plan. Submit the info, include the syllabus, worry about it if I get pushback. I would like CompTIA to be a bit more clear, but if similar courses from other vendors would count, I have no issues submitting Cybrary stuff.
