In this part we are supposed to use whois rekt.systems to get the domain registration information from the target, but I am keep getting this message; “TLD is not supported”. I tried restarting the lab and also tried using the same command in my personal virtual linux environment, still facing issue.
This looks like it may have something to do with a recent change to the whois service or the rekt.systems record. We’re looking into it.

And also, one of the part of challenge exercise for OSINT, we have to use archive.org to find the changes in rekt.systems/robots.txt. Where the changes were back in NOV 2023, and as of now it was hard to find because the calendar shows 2025. In the challenge it should mention to look for 2023.

I’ve resolved the WHOIS query issue by redirecting you to a different tool. The guide and the lab have been updated.
Regarding the archive.org, I added a few more hints, but left it largely unchanged. The earliest and latest snapshots are noted at the top of the page, so I think this is the appropriate amount of rigor. That said, if you have trouble, please reach out to us and the community! We want there to be a certain amount of struggle, but we also don’t want you to get too frustrated…
