There seems to be an issue with the Password Cracking Task 4. I’ve inputted the information as shown in the instructions. However, no password is displayed. It may be an issue with the external website. Is there anyone else that has run into this problem? I’ve been trying to work through this for a few hours.
Hey there - I’ve just tested the Password Cracking lab, and it appears to be working fine.
Please be sure you’re following all of the instructions, including replacing ‘shadow-hash’ with the actual shadow hash value in the final command.
If the issue persists, could you please provide a screenshot?
It worked for me this time. Your advice on the ‘shadow -hash’ was the key. Thanks for your help!
