Hello everyone, right now I am taking the IT and Cyber Security Foundations course, but I am confused between the fields in which I should specialize otherwise. I also do not know what road map I need to make in order to complete and develop myself in cybersecurity. Hey there - have you reviewed the Careers in Cybersecurity course? This would be your best guide to the different career paths available on the platform.
Regardless of how you ultimately choose to pursue a career in cybersecurity, or where you wish to specialize, the best place to start would be completing the Foundations path, followed by the SOC Analyst path.
You may also want to consider looking at some of the Certification Prep paths, particularly Security+. Even if you don’t pursue the certification, the Cert Prep Path will provide a pretty thorough survey of core cybersecurity concepts.
