In the 1.2 Guided exercise, I’m blocked at point 9:
At the authentication screen, enter the following credentials, then click OK to log in.
Username: Administrator
Password: CLABL3arnersRock!1#$
…the problem is that when I press # on the keyboard to introduce password, the simulator doesn’t capture the character, so I can’t log in and proceed with the exercise.
It also won’t let me copy and paste.
While you can’t copy/paste directly into the lab environment, you can use the Shared Clipboard function on the Machines tab. You should be able to input the # character there and then send it to your current machine in the lab environment. You can also click the Send to System button next to the machine credentials to send the password to the current machine.
I logged in and completed the first part but…
The SIEM doesn’t show me the active agent and only gives me 5 events and not 577.
If you’re not seeing an Active Agent, that likely means you didn’t connect the servers correctly in Getting Started. I would double-check your \etc\hosts file to confirm you entered the correct IP address for the Wazuh server. Please be sure you’re using the network IP address, not the loopback adapter IP address.
