I cant get linux-a to ping browser-b. I got linux-a to ping linux-b by name and by ip address, and linux-b to ping the browser. it even says for the flag that it can resolve the browser even. i followed the steps exactly for setting up the pf sense firewall for browser-b too. i am very lost and have already been kicked out of the lab twice.
From linux-a show me you can ping linux-b by name and show me the output from the the flag script ![]()
here i have attached the image of the linux-a console. i ran the ping -c 4 linux-b command and the flag script
Check browser-b and see if there is something you need to fix ![]()
(Hint, there is)
is it with the rules? ive added a rule to accept traffic from linux-a’s ip address to the ip address of browser-b. i am very lost.
I think it’s something simple, something about the IP that is wrong.
