I am attempting to complete the Tunnel Cake Challenge. I have accessed target01 and recovered the key and can access target02. When I setup my nested tunnels, nothing happens. I took away the -fN and added -v for troubleshooting purposes and on target02 I get a continual “channel #: open failed connect failed: connect refused:”. From the kali box, I opened a browser and attempted to browse to https://127.0.0.1:8888 as stated in the memo but get a connection refused and target02 logs the error I stated above so I know the traffic is getting there.
